Before our tool, building and managing a guest list was a feat reserved only for the spreadsheet wizards of the world. Not anymore!
We created Guest List to help you through your entire wedding planning process. It's organized into three helpful (and chronologically-ordered) sections: "View Guest List," "Address Invitations," and "Track RSVPs."
First, get started building your guest list under "View Guest List." This is where you can add guests in three different ways: adding manually, importing a spreadsheet, or sending a link. You can manage who is "Definitely Invited" and who is on the "Maybe" list. We highly recommend downloading the free Zola Weddings app so you can build your list from your phone contacts and make sure no guest goes uncounted for.
Then, once you have a list ready, you can manage your save the dates and invitations in "Address Invitations." Let the numbers at the top of the screen guide you when you order save the dates and invitations. We use the "formal" way to address envelopes, so be sure to add titles to your guests (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr.), and then simply export a file to hand off to your calligrapher or invitation supplier. If you'd rather not address your envelopes formally, just click on each guest and enter how you'd like their address to appear. You can also keep track of whether you've sent a guest's save the date or invitation here.
Under "Track RSVPs," you can take note of everyone's RSVPs manually, or if you've enabled online RSVP on your Zola wedding website, we'll automatically record RSVPs for you. If you're also asking for meal preferences in RSVPs, you can see the rundown of who is eating what, as well as track all other questions to guests (song requests, pieces of marital advice, etc.) here.
